The explorers Lewis and Clark lead a crew into the western United States for an expedition, exploring the lands as far as the Pacific Ocean. They had to investigate and inscription what they have found. Clark kept a rather interesting journal, where he wrote multiple things that he has experienced and detect. On October 28 they would buy multiple things going on their trip. They purchased things such as subtle dogs, fat dogs, many root bread, pounded fish, and dried berries. They visited many diametrical villages and towns to collect what they needed for further traveling. On November 1st William Clark observed many of the villages and noticed that the heads of females, and teenaged females, were very flat. He wherefore learned that they press the female heads between two boards when young until they form the skull to be flat. This was a mark of great mantrap amongst these people. Clark learned that multiple Indian tribes do this along the river. On November 14th their canoe broke against the rocks because of the high tide.
